The Mingei Exhibition Allied Craftsmen Today features my 5 individual copper sculptures which complete a single piece, rendered here by fashion designer Elina Sheripova to illustrate how they are worn. Purposefully, the museum display exaggerates the context-disassociation between sculpture and function, and purifies the forms as "Art."

Allied Craftsmen Today opened on June 15 to a giant crowd, this exhibition pushes the boundaries of craft and, in my case, Jewelry. Come in and see the entirely wearable pieces stand like dueling sea-creatures displayed deliberately and beautifully "out of context" for the greatest impact!
Last night, the opening night of Allied Craftsmen Today was mobbed, and this contemporary show really stretches the limits of the definition of craft.
