Fashionable fine diamond jewelry, accessibly priced: A collaboration with Rio Tinto Diamonds, the Pure Flight collection was launched this week at the Luxury booth at JCK (tradeshow).  The Argyle mine in Australia, one of the leading diamond mines in terms of responsible practices, produces much of the beautiful natural fancy colored diamonds, including the featured Silvermist Diamonds TM in this collection. The project aims at promoting responsible sourcing practices as it is not only the “right thing to do,” but also increasingly the demand of the current and incoming jewelry consumer. In line with my work in general, this collection was developed as the accessibly priced fine jewelry collection for the young, fashionable jewelry buyer, for whom there are few options in retail jewelry stores.  Rio Tinto’s market research and promotional campaign is created to support retailers in serving this NOW demographic with “Diamonds with a Story”display
