This ring’s original carved stone was lost over the years, so we hired Megagem to artfully carve a replacement: a very difficult task of fitting to the original setting.  It was an exciting way to explore the idea of a stylized shell as is found on antique furniture, carved from fine Afghan Lapis rough.  Thank you Meg for your lovely work!
