A great time was had by all at the WJA San Diego Chapter “Maker’s Project Auction” which raised money for Scholarships and Grants, both local and national. I was pleased to be one of the 17 participant-makers, all of who’s work was successfully sold!
The theme was taken from the wedding tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue”. At the “kick off” several weeks ago, each participant brought an item to exchange (borrowed), picked out other items provided (old, new + blue) and then went off to create unique art jewelry for the fundraiser.
Big thanks to the WJA San Diego Chapter visionaries organizers and, and to Sara Rey Jewelry Services for the beautiful photography of everyone’s work!
